Alexis Fajardo at Comic-Con!
July 20, 2009
Kid Beowulf creator Alexis E. Fajardo will be speaking on a panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, which begins on Wednesday of this week. Comic-Con is an annual event that brings together the biggest names in comic books, graphic novels, and related television programs and films. Here’s the snippet from the official schedule:
1:30–2:30 Comics and Graphic Novels for All Ages—It’s true! There’s a wealth of great comic books series and graphic novels out there for comic-loving kids of all ages—so much so, that Comic-Con presents its second big panel of the day on the topic! Join moderator Randy Duncan (co-chair of the Comics Arts Conference), as he talks with Comic-Con special guests Jimmy Gownley (Amelia Rules!), Kazu Kibuishi (Amulet), David Petersen (Mouse Guard), Eric Jones and Landry Walker (Supergirl, Little Gloomy), plus Jeff Smith (Bone), and Lex Fajardo (Kid Beowulf), as they talk about comics for everyone!
So if you’re lucky enough to be going to Comic-Con this week, be sure to stop by this panel. And afterward, stop by and say hi to Alexis. You’ll find him in small press, table 014! Otherwise check back here soon and we’ll fill you in on the details!
EDIT: The panel will be on Kid’s Day, Sunday, July 26!
