The 2009 San Diego Comic-Con wrapped up last Sunday, and with it came the bestowal of the Eisner Awards upon works of creative achievement in American comic books. This year featured a new category, “Best Publication for Teens/Tweens”, the winner of which was the graphic novel version of Neil Gaiman’s Coraline, illustrated by P. Craig Russell. Hello, all! Just a friendly reminder to all those die-hards attending San Diego this year: be sure to stop by table P15 in the small press area. Lex will be on hand selling copies of the new Kid Beowulf.

The word from Lex is:

I will be at Comic-Con for Preview Night (July 23rd) thru the 27th. I have a table in the Small Press area (P16 P15, I think). I should also have some sculpts on hand: the Hama sculpt and hopefully a Beowulf sculpt or two (they still need a little work). I’ll pretty much be manning the table all 5 days, hopefully signing and selling lots of books.
